NTC thermistor refers to a thermistor with a negative temperature coefficient. It is a high-performance ceramic that uses a single high-purity material and has a structure close to the theoretical density. Therefore, while achieving miniaturization, it also has the characteristics of small resistance value, temperature characteristic fluctuations, and fast response to various temperature changes, enabling high-sensitivity and high-precision measurements.
The variation range of NTC thermistor at room temperature is 100~1000000 ohms, and the temperature coefficient is -2%~-6.5%. 1) Temperature measurement and control:
The accuracy of thermistor thermometer can reach 0.1℃, and the temperature sensing time can be as short as 10s or less. It is not only suitable for granary thermometers, but also for temperature measurement in food storage, medicine and health, scientific farming, oceans, deep wells, high altitudes, and glaciers.
2) Temperature compensation:
As an electronic circuit component, it is used for instrument circuit temperature compensation and thermocouple cold junction temperature compensation, etc. The self-heating characteristic of NTC thermistor can be used to realize automatic gain control, forming an RC oscillator amplitude stabilization circuit, delay circuit and protection circuit. When the self-heating temperature is much higher than the ambient temperature, the resistance value is also related to the heat dissipation conditions of the environment. Therefore, thermistor is often used in flow meters, flow meters, gas analyzers, and thermal conductivity analysis to make special inspection components.
